You might be concerned about someone who uses the same computer as you being able to know what sites you’ve visited on the internet. The following will help you to manually delete your browsing history.
We don’t recommend deleting your entire browsing history because this can arouse suspicion if the person you are trying to hide your browsing history from discovers that the entire browsing history has been deleted from the computer.
This information is for guidance only and will not necessarily cover your tracks entirely. If you are still concerned about someone discovering your internet site visits, the best way to access sensitive websites may be to do so at a trusted friend’s house or maybe to use a public internet point such as a library.
Which browser am I using?
Click on Help on the menu at the top of the browser screen (ALT and then H on most browsers). A drop down menu will appear, the last entry will say About Internet Explorer, About Mozilla Firefox, or similar. If you select it, you will be told the browser name and version you are using.
How to selectively delete just one site from the browser history
We recommend you go to a “safe” web page (one that nobody could object to, for example about the weather or local information) before you carry out these instructions. If you stay on our site while you carry them out, your web browser may keep the information of this page.
